Shishamo (柳葉魚, literally "Willow Leaf Fish"), or Spirinchus lanceolatus, is an anadromous fish (smelt) native to Hokkaido, Japan.

Shishamo boasts numerous health advantages serving as an abundant source of omega-3 oils and essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, Vitamin B, and D. Furthermore, it is low in saturated fats and cholesterol. The entire fish is enjoyable from head to tail, making it wholesome and nutritious.
